Improving Staff Productivity: Great Ideas to Increase Profits (Psi Successful Business Library)
Published in Paperback by PSI Research - Oasis Press (01 February, 1999)
Author: Ben Harrison Carter
Average review score:

Very useful Management training tool.
Being a management research consultant, I am forced to read many books on Management. Most books these days are ego trips for overpaid executives. The reader seldom learns and never applies. This book is a teacher. It can be immediately applied to real problems or strategies. The book can be a management training tool for all young managers, and a refresher for older managers. It should get the award of the year for usefulness.

In the shadow of the curette : some aspects of legal abortion
Published in Unknown Binding by Vantage Press ()
Author: Colin P. Harrison
Average review score:

Provocative.
It's often said that there is nothing new to say about abortion. Harrison has something new to say -- said over two decades ago and foolishly ignored. Viewed from our perspective, In The Shadow of the Curette seems a chilling prophecy.

Indigo Animal
Published in Paperback by Indigo Animal (15 June, 1999)
Author: Rue Harrison
Average review score:

Indigo Animal is wonderful
This book is wonderful. Every other thought contained within the Indigo Animal is profound; I had to make myself slow down to read it because there was so much information to gather from each little sentence. It really isn't a children's book, despite all the great pictures. Maybe you know this, but just in case. It's the story of an animal finding a community to help him explore. This is a great book to keep around the house for when you're feeling uninspired or blue. or indigo.

Innocent Insights: A Gift of Children's Humor & Love
Published in Paperback by Indypublish.Com (July, 2000)
Author: Susie Harrison
Average review score:

Disappointed... because I wanted to read more.
I was very curious about "Innocent Insights" and the author Susie Harrison. A good summary of what to expect from reading the book is stated by Harrison in the preface: "Not all the stories are belly achingly funny. Some have simple humor, some are hilarious, and some are just plain touching." I was disappointed when I finished reading because I wanted to read more.

The last I heard, she was working on a children's fiction book, I look forward to reading.

INSIDERS GUIDE TO NORTH CAROLINA'S OUTER BANKS
Excellent. We use it each time we go...the pages are worn...recommendations on places to stay, dining, etc. have been right on target. I know that using this book helped introduce us to the Outer Banks in such a way that our experience kept us coming back. Thank you Insiders' Guides for wonderful publications.

The Islands of Italy: Sicily, Sardinia, and the Aeolian Islands
Published in Hardcover by Ticknor & Fields (October, 1991)
Authors: Barbara Grizzuti Harrison, Barbara Grizutti Harrison, Sheila Nardulli, and Shelia Nardulli
Average review score:

One of my favorite books
I found this book quite by accident while doing research for an upcoming trip to Italy. This was only one of many books I looked at and I didn't expect it to be anything more than a resource. Instead, it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and satisfying books I've ever read.

I really cannot say enough in praise of Barbara G. Harrison's writing. She tells anecdotes, expresses odd thoughts, describes scenarios, but the impact of her words goes far beyond a simple travelogue. Never mind the excellent photography featured in this book; Harrison's writing is reason enough to seek out this book.

Meditative, thought-provoking, occasionally disturbing, and at times quite challenging, The Islands of Italy isn't simply a book about Italy.

It's so much more...

John Bunyan
Published in Paperback by Banner of Truth (December, 1995)
Author: Frank M. Harrison
Average review score:

Excellent people's biography of Bunyan!
This slim volume is a good biography of Bunyan, a man whose interesting life is often overshadowed by his works of native genius. It is lively, readable, and written from a Christian perspective.

Especially good is Harrison's discussion of whether Bunyan was truly a Baptist or not.

Recommended.

Killing Kennedy: And the Hoax of the Century

An excellent help
For my senior project paper I chose to do the pictures and film of the kennedy assassination. This book helped a lot, and best of all it was not a boring to read. Read this book if you want to know more about the assassintion, or doing a project. Very good. The book by the way has much more information that this on the subject.
